there is no love like the love of Christ’s. the pain of this world still touches us, still leaves its mark, but Jesus heals like no one else can, and He loves so tenderly, so perfectly, so thoroughly, so intimately.

i was broken the first time i heard this song, and it’s simple lyrics washed over me, healing me, touching me.

Jesus’ grace has found me just as i am.

and when one love walks away from you because he’s become broken in the midst of war, you’re reminded another love gave up his life for you.  and that kind of love never dies, never walks away from you, never fails you.  that kind of love demands your all, your very life.

when you fall in love, you risk it all to give yourself to the one who has captured your heart.

Jesus has captured mine.
