what’s procrastination?

i blog best when deadlines are looming.
though i cannot say today is a “best” blogging day. i’m not caving into my great temptation to write like a mad woman on anything but the tasks at hand. i’m just occasionally writing snippets.

i have a full weekend ahead of me.
–
i think we should have three day weekends.

jan krist’s music is fabulous.

i still have me, ahem, three trees with white lights on them set up. (they are no longer “christmas” trees - they are…”winter trees.” named “the henries” in honor of the original henry. i should come up with individual names for henry’s spawn.
i have a very understanding roommate who has allowed me to keep my eccentricities. though i wonder if i can keep them up until at least april…hopefully, becca, you’ll skip over this post and your passivity will be taken as a “yes.”

i’m easily distracted today. what’s wrong with me? !
Loving your blog posts today because I know your heart. I can feel your excitement and joy. I am smiling and thinking thoughts like “someone must be loving her today” and “oh how i wish it were tea for two,” one being you and the other me.
p.s. I am an “edge of the baked good” girl. I love pie crust and the bottom half of the ice cream cone.
I love you, alyoshajane! Haha. I make my pies without crusts…when Becca and I were at a party at my Mom’s, I was eating a piece of amazing homemade apple pie, picking my way around the crust, and Becca came up and between the two of us, we finished that piece of, both entirely satisfied. ;p
We would have made great roommates. Too bad you had to go and get married and squelch any hope of future roommate plans I had with you.
Anyway, your thoughts today are pretty accurate; am I that transparent? ;) Tea for two - waiting for the day you come to visit and we are able to visit face to face once again. (Or the day I come upon an unexpected windfall and can travel to NYC. ;) Either would be fabulous. And when you come here, I’ll make you brownies and cut all the edge pieces especially for you.
mwah!
Enjoy tonight.
Ha-ha! I do read your posts! April, huh? We’ll see… ;D Maybe sometime in March we can take them down, considering tomorrow is March–like by Saint Patty’s day? :D
They are no longer Christmas trees – they are woodland trees…I’ll take off any remnants of anything that could resemble “Christmas” ornaments so they just look like completely woodland trees – NARNIA trees. You like Narnia, right? Beautiful, lovely Narnia trees…earthy…bohemian…hippie…artistic…unique…creative…soothing…fabulous…romancing…calming…peaceful…mesmerizing…
How could you possibly want to take down woodland trees?
