“authentic love is about how much you can give”
(india arie)
The woman is amazing.
Made me cry tonight. Granted, I’m utterly, utterly exhausted from a long, wonderful, productive workday and a good walk/workout tonight…my whole body aches in that grand fashion after you’ve worked it. I still have a million things I want to do tonight. Full day at the firm tomorrow, then a work meeting with my partner on campus, then…a baby shower for my best friend in highschool. Sex of child still to be determiend and the due date is in two weeks. ;p Kind of nice to shop without knowing whether or not the child shall be a boy or girl. For five out of my six siblings, I did not know the gender…the last baby, Mom told me but swore me to secrecy since Dad didn’t want to know but be surprised.
There’s something awesome in being surprised.

LOVING my new (used) IPOD. Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo thrilled. Beyond thrilled. I love podcasts - lectures, etc. so now I can listen whenever…wahoo! And of course continue my unapologetic addiction to music. ;) I waited three years to have one, and I am sooooo excited to finally have one - it practically dropped into my lap, too. Wahoo!
Oh my gosh I love my IPOD too. I bought a nano like 2 years ago and have not regretted it since . I’m not one to get lots of little expensive gadgets, but it has been the BEST workout tool/motivator ever! (In fact, I’m about to go take it on a run!) I also plan to take it to Europe so I can listen to lectures and sermons on the plane or while traveling, when I don’t feel like reading.
Seriously, I love it.
:)
Have fun with it!
I am having fun with it - I’m looking forward to lectures at work and using it during my workouts, etc. Or when I’m on campus trying to get work done inbetween student appointments and want to drown out the background noise. Or when cleaning the house. Wahoo! So many uses. Very, very excited.
P.S. Can you take me to Europe with you? Just put me in your suitcase?
;)
